Dan of Havasu Speed Equipment called when one of their customers was having a problem with their Ford Truck. The truck had a 2001 Ford Mustang 4 valve 4.6l Cobra engine in it and had a factory ECU. It would cut fuel at 3000 rpms in 3rd gear and even lower sometimes in 4th gear. Another Company had installed a chip in the factory computer which is really the wrong way to go with a modern ECU like the Ford. So we took the chip out and set them up with a Diablosport Predator Flash Programmer and built a custom tune for the Preadtor. After finding a problem with their MAF tube and a plugged MAF hole. Dan and the crew did some mods on the MAF tube and we were in business. We then finished the custom tune and it was a very good running truck after that.
